While a lot of my newborn sessions take place in my studio space, I also absolutely adore in-home newborn sessions! Capturing this special season in your own home brings so much meaning to your session and overall images. There will be a day that you look at these photos and reminisce on all the thoughtful details you put into your nursery, and the time and care you took to provide a safe, cozy haven for you new bundle. Plus, it’s an easy way to include your fur-baby in a relaxed setting. I could go on an on about how special in-home sessions are!

Are you wondering if your home would be a good setting for your newborn session? The main thing I look for when discussing the setting is NATURAL LIGHT! Although artificial lighting has its place, I am a sucker for streaming natural light that truly gives the final images life. You can see from little Emma’s session that there was an abundance of natural light which created that little extra piece of magic.
